We take care of all the arrangements so you don't have to. Your tour will be completely arranged by our staff.

Our goal is to help you feel comfortable in the tasting rooms. To inform you about Oregon, Oregon's Wine History and wines in general. To have a great time, and taste some great wines. We want to provide you with an exceptional experience. I want to share our passion of wine with you and to provide a personal experience in wine country that you can't get from anyone else. We focus on small groups from 2 - 10 people. If we keep our numbers small, we make sure to keep our quality high.

Hours: Tours are generally from 10am - 6pm unless you request otherwise. We operate seven days a week - Year round.

Lunch can be arranged at a winery (picnic style) during the day or we can stop at one of many excellent restaurants. We can supply picnic lunches or you can bring your own. We can suggest a restaurant or you can choose. We are here to assist you in all details.

Service Area is the Northern Willamette Valley from Portland to Salem, and the Hood River Valley.

For a slight additional fee we can also provide tours in the Corvallis area.

This is our 12 passenger van. ~ Dark tinted windows and doors on both sides allow easier access in and out of the van.

The van is always fresh and clean. ~ It's detailed between every tour. ~ We love to listen to music, stop for pictures and tell jokes so please relax and enjoy the day. ~ Allow us to do whatever we can to make your experience one that you will remember fondly for years and years to come. It's a relaxed pace with non-stuffy wine lovers showing you our favorite places. No gimmicks, no kick backs from the wineries. Honest. Sincere. Knowledgeable. Respected. Fun.

Since 2004, Oregon Wine Tours has specialized in intimate group tours with an insiders knowledge and experience.

We've worked hard to earn the respect of the smaller and larger wineries alike, allowing us the ability to

create a perfect tour for just about everyone.

Lunch is not included. Depending on the specific tour, tasting fees could be additional. Most tours pay no to little tasting fees. Many wineries waive our fees outright and most waive with a minimum purchase. Feel free to ask about tasting fees when you are contacting us.

Remember that EVERY tour is created just for you based on what you tell us you want to experience.

There are over 300 wineries to choose from. Where do you start? That's what we are here for. Tell us what you want to experience and we'll make the necessary arrangements for you. With over seven years of tour experience, we have the insight into who is doing what. We can create a tour just for you because of our experience, connections and love of wine and Oregon.

Remember that every tour offered by Oregon Wine Tours is always personalized just for you based on what you want from your tour. Wine and Beer Tour

We have made exclusive arrangements with several of the areas premier micro breweries. We can split the tour and spend part of the day tasting fantastic Oregon Wines from boutique producers and the rest of the time exploring some amazing micro breweries. It's the very best of both worlds! Tasting fees not included, lunch not included*

Hood River Wine / Columbia Gorge Scenic Tour

**Due to extreme weather conditions in the Columbia Gorge, tours in the winter may not be possible. Please contact us for more information.

Enjoy the beautiful Hood River Valley and National Scenic Wonder, the Columbia River Gorge. This is an amazing area with a focus more on the bigger reds / whites. On our drive, we will stop to enjoy Multnomah Falls and we will also enjoy views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. A stop at Full Sail Brewery is also a possibility for tours to Hood River.

A Day of Romance

$575.00

Your private tour includes tasting fees, a romantic gourmet lunch and a selection of gourmet chocolates.

We will create a romantic day for the two of you with scenic wineries and great wines.

When it's possible, we will have a private lunch overlooking the vineyards at a select winery. When the weather does not allow, lunch will be at a local restaurant.

Great for your anniversary, birthday or marriage proposal. If that's the case, let me know if I can help. We will do whatever we can to create the best, romantic wine tasting experience possible. Allow us to pamper you during the day and help you to enjoy the company of that special someone.

The Collectors Tours

Collector’s V.I.P. Tour

The van and driver are yours for a private and exclusive look into the best of Oregon's wines. You will have access to some of the harder to visit wineries. Most of them are not open to the public.

You will meet some wine makers and owners and have private tastings with them to discuss the wines. These are the exclusive, elusive wines you just got to have.

Your day will include artisan cheeses paired with your wines along with gourmet chocolate truffles. This tour is for those seeking the best Oregon Wine to stock their cellars with. We have a sommelier on staff to guide you through the day of wines and food pairings and to answer all of your questions.

Winemaker’s Tour

1-3 people $800 4-6 people $1000 7+ Add $100/person

All Inclusive. Tasting fees and lunch included*

Spend the day with an influential Wine Maker, Vineyard Manager or Winery Owner.

Be personally escorted from pick up to drop off by them, with their undivided attention on you all day. Learn about Oregon's Wine History, Soils, Wine Making Secrets and Stories no one outside of the circle knows...

Enjoy a private, gourmet lunch.

Barrel Tasting (when possible). Visit a local cooper and see them as they make Oak Wine Barrels.

Personal Tours of the Vineyards (weather permitting).

Stock up on wines not available to the general public.

*Pick up area is the general Portland Metro South of the Columbia River and west of I-205. Washington County and wine country are included in the pick up area. Outside of the pick up area, there will be a fuel charge added of $25+ depending on location of pick up.

*These are very deluxe and completely private / custom trips. I can meet you in Walla Walla if you like or I will drive you there. Tours include over night accommodations and one to three days of wine tasting. Meals are additional.

We chat with you and provide a self-guided tour, or choose a theme:

Winery Tour

Reserve a tour at a winery, could have extra charge. We are happy to show you around or you can choose to have a "formal" tour and tasting at a local winery. The Formal tours will have an additional charge - depending on the winery chosen. We can suggest several excellent choices for the tour options.

Alternate Stops

Antiques, aviation museum, waterfalls, farmers markets, etc. We are happy to accommodate your requests but remember that alternate stops may not allow us to visit all scheduled wineries.

I took Heather on a wine tour for her birthday with Oregon Wine Tours about a weeks ago. I explained to Ron she understood Red wine’s and I was the newbie...

However, going on this wine excursion of tasting and what I would recollect is an education of the history of wine and the up and coming wine makers like Styring vineyards, personally was

an experience bar none one that I will never forget. Ron is an incredible man of knowledge of wine and the local wineries. He doesn’t just put you in the “commercial” wine tasting venues

but an experience to be savored. Something to be remembered. One could say to themselves I got to taste the essence of Oregon Wines.

I enjoyed the thought and effort that was put into this tour. The other couple that we were with was a great match. He thought through as well. Making sure that the experience was

pleasant for both couples.

If you ever want to enjoy a day of the country of knowledge of incredible wine and a time to be remembered I recommend Ron.

Larry and I returned to Albuquerque this afternoon. There are no words to describe the wine tour experience you provided us. We are still heady with delight at all four wineries. We wanted to take a moment to thank you again for an exceptional experience. We both enjoyed the day of wine touring with you more than we can express.

The morning of our tour, Dan wasn't really all that enthused about going -- he was more humoring his wife. But I know him pretty well, and can tell you by the

second vineyard he was changing his mind. He's not an overly talkative or demonstrative fellow in strange situations, but I could tell he was engaged because he

was asking you questions. This is not something Dan is prone to do unless he 1) finds the topic engaging and 2) finds the person he's questioning to have some

intellect and chops about the topic. He was also very enthusiastic later and even so when telling others about the experience. So, Ron, if you can achieve that, you have hit a

home run! I enjoyed it as well, but for my husband to be so engaged and enthused was a bonus that I wasn't expecting. In fact, we were both so impressed with what was not just a tasting

experience, but a fantastic learning experience. Your wine knowledge and passion is evident and delivered in such a personable way.
